一、学校概况 Introduction to JSUT

江苏理工学院地处有着3200多年历史的文化古城—江苏省常州市。常州位于长江三角洲中心地带，与上海、南京两大都市等距相望，区位条件优越。这里气候舒适宜人，经济质量优异，社会安宁和谐，交通出行便利，生活环境优美，被评为全国文明城市和中国最具创新力城市。

Jiangsu University of Technology (JSUT) is situated in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, a renowned cultural city in the central region of the Yangtze River Delta with over 3,200 years of history and advantageous location of equidistance from Shanghai and Nanjing. Changzhou boasts pleasant climate, booming economy, social stability and harmony, convenient transportation and beautiful living environment. It is named as “National Civilized City ”and “The Most Innovative City in China”.

学校创建于1984年，是硕士学位授予单位、教育部本科教学工作水平评估优秀单位、全国首批职教师资培训重点建设基地和江苏省首批决策咨询研究基地。学校各类校舍建筑面积50余万平方米，现有全日制在校本科生20000余人、硕士研究生900余人、外国留学生学历生（本科生、研究生）100余人，教职工1500余人。开设62个本科专业，招收教育、机械、资源与环境硕士研究生，形成了以工科为主，多学科协调发展的办学格局。

JSUT was brought into existence in 1984. It is the unit for awarding master's degree. It was evaluated with the score of Excellence in the undergraduate teaching evaluation implemented by the Ministry of Education. It is also one of the first National Key Vocational Education Construction Bases of Teachers Training, and one of the decision-making consultation research bases for the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. The building area of various school buildings of the school is more than 500000 square meters and has over 20,000 full-time undergraduates, nearly 900 postgraduates, over 100 international students with academic qualifications (undergraduate and graduate students) and about 1,500 faculty members. JSUT offers 62 undergraduate majors, and enrolls postgraduate students in majors of Mechanics, Resources & Environment and Education, which forms a distinct pattern of engineering-oriented and multiple discipline coordinated development.

学校大力实施国际化发展战略，积极引进国际先进办学理念、标准和资源，重点打造以中德合作为主的国际合作办学特色，先后与德国、美国、英国、法国、以色列、日本、韩国、哈萨克斯坦等国家，以及澳门、台湾地区的60余所高校建立了紧密的合作与交流关系。目前面向俄罗斯、摩洛哥、南非、印度尼西亚等“一带一路”沿线30多个国家招收留学生。

JSUT vigorously implements strategy of internationalized development, actively absorbing advanced international educational thoughts, standards and resources. It highlights characteristics of international cooperation and exchange by focusing on the implementation of Sino-German cooperation program and successively establishing cooperation relationship with over 60 universities from Germany, United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Ukraine, Israel, Kazakhstan, Macao and Taiwan. Now JSUT enroll international students from over 30 ‘Belt and Road’ countries such as Russia, Morocco, South Africa, Indonesia and etc.

江苏理工学院国际教育学院具体负责外国留学生的招生、管理和培养工作，下设留学生管理办公室，配备专职留学生辅导员，精心管理，竭诚服务，热情帮助，2次荣获江苏省来华留学生教育先进集体。近年来，学校加大留学生教育软硬件建设，建有设施齐全、功能完备的留学生教学楼和公寓楼，着力为留学生创造优美的学习和生活环境。学校面向留学生需求调整专业设置，配强教学师资，完善课程体系，不断提升留学生培养质量。获批省级外国留学生英文授课精品课程1门，留学生在全国大学生英语演讲比赛、中华经典诵读大赛中多次获奖。

School of International Education of JSUT is specifically responsible for the enrollment, management, and education of international students. It has an International Student Management Office with full-time international student counselor to provide careful management, dedicated service and enthusiastic help, and has been awarded the Jiangsu Advanced Group for Education of International Students in China twice. In recent years, JSUT has increased the construction of software and hardware for international student’s education, and has built a well-equipped and full-functioning international student teaching building and apartment building, focusing on creating a beautiful studying and living environment for international students. Based on the needs of international students, the university adjusts major settings, equips with good teachers, improves curriculum system to continuously improves the quality of international students. One provincial-level Excellent English-speaking Course For Foreign Students has been approved. Foreign students have won many awards in the National College Students' English Speech Contest and the Chinese Classical Recital Contest.

二、招生说明 Enrollment instruction

1.项目介绍Program introduction

该项目为我校与高职院校联合开展，选拔优秀专科留学生转入我校本科专业学习（以下简称“专转本”）。项目采用“3+2”模式，即3年专科阶段学习合格后，进入我校进行2年本科学习，最长学习年限为4年。学生修完所有课程并通过考试后，可获得本科毕业证书；符合学士学位授予条件者，可申请授予学士学位。

This program is jointly developed by our school and higher vocational colleges, and selected outstanding international college students to transfer to our university for undergraduate studies (Hereinafter referred to as Upgrading to Undergraduate). The program adopts “3+2” mode, that is after passing the 3-year college-level study, the student enters our university for 2-year undergraduate study. Students who have completed the study and passed all subjects will receive a undergraduate diploma; those who meet the requirements for degree awards will receive a bachelor's degree certificate.

2.招生专业 Majors offered

原则上学校开设的所有本科专业均招收“专转本”留学生。

In principle, all undergraduate majors are accessible.

说明：1.学生中文能力要求达到《国际汉语能力标准》（HSK）四级及以上；

Students should pass HSK 4 or above;

2.高职相近专业均可申请；

Students with close majors in higher vocational colleges can apply;

3.授课语言为汉语。

All courses will be taught in Chinese.

三、申请条件 Application requirements

1.非中国籍公民，持有有效外国护照，对华友好，无犯罪记录；

Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens, hold valid foreign passports, friendly to China and without criminal records;

2.身体健康，符合教育部颁布的《外国来华留学生健康检查标准》；

Should be in good health condition based on the Foreign Students Physical Examination Standards by the Ministry of Education;

3.遵守中国的法律法规和学校的规章制度，未受到任何纪律处分；

Abide by the law in China and regulations of schools. Never been disciplined;

4.专科阶段学习成绩优秀，已修课程全部合格，能够达到毕业条件的优秀专科应届毕业生；

Excellent college graduates of this year who achieves excellent scores, complete all courses in college and meet the graduation requirements;

5.取得HSK 四级及以上证书。

Obtained HSK 4 or above certificates.

四、申请流程及录取 Application process and admission

第一步：申请学生在2023年6月30日前提交以下材料及报名费500元：

Step 1: Before June 30, 2023, submit application fee of 500 yuan, as well as the following materials:

1.江苏理工学院外国留学生入学申请表（word版及PDF版）；

Application Form for International Student of JSUT (word and PDF);

2.专科学习期间成绩单（须加盖公章）；

Transcripts in college (all must be stamped with official seal);

3.护照个人信息页和居留许可页（扫描件）；

Passport personal information page and residence permit page (scanned copy);

 4.健康证明（扫描件）；

Health Certificate (scanned copy);

5.白底近期免冠证件照（电子版）；

Passport photos with white background (digital one);

 6.专科学校开具的在校综合表现证明和按期毕业证明（扫描件）；

Certificate of comprehensive performance in college and scheduled graduation certificate issued by the college (scanned copy);

7.汉语水平证书（扫描件）；

Chinese Proficiency Certificate (scanned copy);

8.在校期间获奖证书或荣誉证书（若有）。

Award certificate or honor certificate in school (if any);

第二步：材料审核，视频面试或电话面试。

Step two: material review, video interview or telephone interview.

第三步：查看录取状态，合格者发放预录取通知书。

Step three: Check admission status, qualified applicants will issue Letter of Pre-admission.

第四步：国际教育学院留学生管理办公室协助被录取学生办理居留许可变更和延期的手续，或到中国驻外使领馆申请新的学习签证（X1签证），准备入境，并将到校行程告知学校。

Step four: School of International Education help admitted students to apply new residence permit or extend it. Or go to Chinese embassy or consulate abroad to apply for study visa (X1 visa). Prepare to enter China and inform JUST the itinerary.

第五步：按《江苏理工学院录取通知书》规定时间来校报到。

Step five: Admitted students come to JSUT and register within the designated time in Letter of Admission.

第六步：查验申请材料原件，办理报到手续。

Step six: Check the original application materials and complete the registration procedures.

说明：1.被录取学生在取得毕业文凭后，立即将扫描件发至指定邮箱，如未能如期毕业，其“专升本”资格自动取消；

After receiving the college diploma, the admitted student shall immediately send the scanned copy to the designated mailbox. If he fails to graduate as scheduled, his Upgrading to Undergraduate qualification will be automatically cancelled;

 2.被录取学生若选择由我校协助办理居留许可变更和延期，在办理该手续前，须提交专科毕业文凭原件，缴纳住宿费及保险费，在居留许可到期前7个工作日携带相关材料来我校；

 If the admitted student chooses JSUT to apply or extend the residence permit, before going through this procedure, the student must submit the original college diploma and pay all tuition fees, and bring relevant materials to our university 7 working days before the expiry of the residence permit;

3.被录取学生可选择在新学年开学前将所有费用提前汇至学校账户，汇款时请在汇款附言中注明申请人姓名、护照号。

Admitted students can choose to remit all fees to JSUT account before the start of the new school year. When remittance, please indicate the applicant's name and passport number in the remittance postscript.

七、奖学金 Scholarship

1.江苏理工学院高水平语言新生奖学金 JSUT Scholarship for Advanced Language Freshman

主要用于奖励申请到江苏理工学院接受学历教育的英语或中文成绩优秀的新生，在入学学年一次性发放。申请中文授课的，须《国际汉语能力标准》（HSK）五级及以上。具体金额为：2000元/人。

It is mainly used to reward freshmen who have excellent scores in English or Chinese for undergraduate education at JSUT. Students will be issued once in the first school year. Students who apply for majors taught in Chinese must have HSK 5 or above. The specific amount is ¥2,000 yuan/ person.

2.江苏理工学院外国留学生优秀新生学业奖学金 JSUT Academic Scholarship for Outstanding International freshmen

主要用于奖励申请到江苏理工学院接受学历教育学业成绩优秀的新生，金额为3000元。此项奖学金在入学第一学年根据学生综合表现逐月发放。

It is mainly used to reward freshmen who apply for undergraduate education in JSUT with excellent academic performance, with an amount of 3000 yuan. The scholarship will be awarded monthly according to the overall performance of the students in the first academic year.

3.江苏理工学院“专转本”留学生院长奖学金 JSUT Dean Scholarship for Upgrading to Undergraduate International Students

专业学习期间，通过合作机构、院校推荐的学生以及其他优秀专科毕业生均可申请我校提供的江苏理工学院“专转本”留学生院长奖学金。 第一学年按录取条件审核评定。学校将根据其在校学习成绩及综合表现进行学年综合考评，并按照相关规定评定下一学年院长奖学金金额。

During the period of major study, students recruited through collaborative partners or recommended by cooperative institutions and universities and other excellent senior school graduates can apply for JSUT Dean Scholarship for Upgrading to Undergraduate International Students. The qualifications in the first academic year will be assessed according to the admission conditions. After the end of the first academic year, the school will conduct a comprehensive evaluation according to the students' academic performance and overall performance. The amount of this scholarship to this student in the next academic year will be assessed in accordance with the relevant regulations.

4.江苏理工学院“专转本”优秀留学生奖学金 JSUT Scholarship for Outstanding Upgrading to Undergraduate International Students

专业学习期间，每学年设立“江苏理工学院“专转本”优秀留学生奖学金”，以鼓励留学生刻苦学习、奋发向上、追求卓越。具体金额为1000—3000元不等。

During the period of students’ major study, JSUT provides students with Scholarship for Excellent International Students in JSUT from the second academic year (See the following chart) to encourage them to study harder, to make them rise and to strive for excellence so that their creative spirit and practical ability could be stimulated and cultivated. The amount ranges from 1000 to 3000 yuan.
